Description
Atrauman® Ag Silver Dressing
Description Atrauman® Ag is a silver-containing ointment dressing made of a hydrophobic polyamide lattice tulle. The fibres are coated with elemental silver, providing a broad-spectrum antimicrobial effect against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. The dressing is impregnated with a neutral ointment base that contains no vaseline or paraffin, ensuring a residue-free and gentle wound interface.
This soft, conformable, and highly drapable dressing is permeable to exudate, non-adherent to the wound surface, and remains effective for up to seven days of continuous use. It is non-sensitising and non-allergenic, making it suitable for patients with sensitive skin.
